In a bid to improve our members' nutrition and soil fertility, Uganda Kolping Society has a Milk Cow Project. Its run on a rotational basis where by each member that receives a heifer has to pass on to another prepared beneficiary.
Both adults and children have had nutrition improved through milk consumption. Cows' off springs have also been sold to pay school fees and buy essential assets like land. Crop productivity has been enhanced through use of manure. Our magnitude of impact can be seen from over 450 cows that are under our beneficiaries' care.
