Tree Planting

In today's world, the issues of the environment are very critical. The effects of our actions don't only affect us but other people as well.   For example, fumes of a factory will not affect only the workers but the general population as well. It's in order that we make an effort to avert effects of both our actions and those that we are not directly responsible for.

Therefore Tree planting as an effort to protect the environment is our mandate. The idea to plant trees was picked during the 8th UKS National Convention in 1998. Members agreed to plant trees as a source of income and protection of the environment. Uganda Kolping Society as an organization has made efforts to support her members on this noble cause. More than 50 Kolping Families have been supplied with about 80,000 seedlings of various tribes.
