CPA FRED WAKISA is the Managing Director of Uganda Kolping Society appointed effective 1st November 2017 to date. He is among the long serving staff of Uganda Kolping Society and has served the organization in different capacities.
CPA Fred Wakisa joined Uganda Kolping Society in 2009. Before joining UKS he worked with Hoima Catholic Diocese as the Principal of Millennium Business School and lecturer with Multitech Business School- Hoima Study Centre. With Uganda Kolping Society, he was first appointed as a Credit Officer and raised through the ranks, Accounts assistant, and Accountant Kolping Micro Finance Uganda Limited.
He was promoted to head the Internal Audit Department as the UKS Internal Auditor, later Projects Director/Deputy Managing Director.
He was appointed the Managing Director of Uganda Kolping society effective 1st November 2017 by the appointing Authority. He is the Chairperson Board of Directors Kolping Micro Finance Uganda Limited, Chairperson Board of Directors Kolping Holdings Uganda Limited. He is a member of the Board St. Simon Peter Vocational Training Centre-Hoima, and a member of the Board of Directors Kolping International.
He is a graduate of Business Administration specializing in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant.
His areas of competence include among others: Business Management, team work & team building, transformational governance and decision making, Business Ethics, Accounting and Human Resource Management. He is a passionate promoter of Sustainable climate SMART Agriculture and entrepreneurship for improved productivity.
He is a Family man married to Mrs. Kobusinge W. Catharine, and blessed with children and good supporter of development and family values well knowing Humanity’s root is In the Family and loves taking part in shaping the society.
