This Project stems from the 2nd resolution of the 1998 Ninth UKS Convention. Its objectives are to enable members have long term investments, protect the environment, and get reliable sources of fuelwood among others. As per the Guidelines, a Kolping Family upon request is facilitated to either start a nursery bed or buy tree seedlings, upon a satisfactory local contribution of at least 50%. Over 20,000 trees have been planted and the Kolping Families that have benefited include: Munteme, Amucu, Kikyamuzi, Kikuube, Kibwona, Kinogozi and Kyamasuka.
